A few weeks ago NetShare appeared in the Appstore, it looked pretty awsome eventhough the setup was really complicated and for many quite advanced, this application let any mac user surf the web connected to its iPhone 3G/2G connection, but in a matter of hours apple removed it from the appstore.

The iPhone-Dev Team has done it again, they have succesfuly managed to jailbreak apple’s new 2.1 iPhone and iPod Firmware.

You can download this App here as a direct download or here as a Torrent file.

This will let you Jailbreak your iPhone running firmware 2.1, install Cydia, Installer, and a nice Boot image.

During this last few days I have received many offers and seen many ad’s of GSM Watch Phones I first thought what a bad idea, having in mind all the amazing features a normal cellphone has nowadays. So I began to read some of the characteristics of this Watch/Phones, and I was pretty amazed at how complete they are.

Most of them are quite affordable, their price range from 100$ to about 300$, practicly all of them have built in Mp3 Player, Touch screen 1.3″ color displays, they have Mini Usb Port, Bluetooth, and you can Have them on your wrist for no less than 120h “5 days” without need of charging, you can also talk for 3h before battery runs out. also some models offer 128 mb built memory and at the same time MicroSD expandible Memory!

Some of the great things about this gadgets are;

• less probability of theft, as they are attatched to your wrist and most look as boring as any other watch.
• Not heavy one less device in your pocket
• one less device in your pocket
• Sport Compatible for running etc…

Some of the not so great things about them are;

• small screen compared to a regular phone, probably many have trouble dialing or so.
• probably not waterproof
• unless you have a bluetooth speaker on your ear it might be uncomfortable to talk to someone over your wrist.

The New iPhones seem to work pretty well.  Sure there are a few zones around town where there is no data and it does tend to hang every now and again.  But, that is to be expected.  Overall it is as stable as any desktop OS out there and when it does crash it comes back pretty quick.  But maybe this isn’t normal?

Apparently 2% of the iPhones out there got some bad software and need to get an upgrade.

According to a Macrumors forum member, Steve Jobs wrote:

We are working on some bugs which affect around 2% of the iPhones shipped, and hope to have a software update soon.

UPDATE: The New Firmware apparently didnt fix the issues, do NOT upgrade if you are using a Jailbreaked iPhone because its currently “Un-Jailbreakble”

The iPhone 3g has been arround for almost a month now and the unlocking possibilities are still unclear,

The iPhone Dev-Team has done it again, they’ve recently released their latest version of their very famous “Pwnage Tool”.

This new version includes;

• iPhone 2.0.1 Jailbreak “No Unlock Yet”
• Includes the Beta from Rip Dev’s Installer Utility “4.0″
• Includes Cydia similar to Installer
